In the morning, His Honour Professor the Honourable Hugh Heggie PSM, Administrator of the Northern Territory attended the ABC Radio Darwin studio for an interview.

In the evening, His Honour, accompanied by Ms Ruth Jones, attended The Northern Territory Board of Studies Scholars Awards. His Honour addressed guests and presented the Administrator's Medals for scholastic achievement to Year 6 and Year 9 scholars.
