Kings Birthday celebrations at Government House

Government House was delighted to host a reception celebrating the official birthday of Australia’s Head of State, His Majesty King Charles III.

With an impressive Cadet Guard of Honour representing the next generation of Royal Australian Navy, Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force leaders, His Honour was chuffed to meet so many young Territorians who are having a crack, embracing leadership opportunities, and choosing to serve their community and country.

His Honour and Ms Sue Brosnan OLY also acknowledged the many recipients of Australian Honours in attendance. While those recognised rarely seek acknowledgement, the Australian Honours and Awards system provide an important opportunity for our community to express its gratitude for the extraordinary contributions they make to the Northern Territory and our country.
