Swearing-in Ceremony of the 24th Administrator

During the ceremony, His Honour affirmed in his Affirmation of Office to “do right to all manner of people according to law, without fear or favour, affection or ill will.”

In remarks following the swearing‑in, His Honour reflected on the role of the Administrator, emphasising the importance of supporting Territorians who work to strengthen their communities and of recognising acts of quiet courage and kindness.

He concluded: “Thank you for the trust placed in me. I will work hard every day to ensure that the Office of the Administrator reflects the dignity of the Northern Territory and the aspirations of its people.”
