His Honour and Ms Jones joined hundreds of Territorians at the OZ Fun Run early this morning - firing the starting gun, cheering on runners, handing out medals and sharing plenty of hugs.

Concluding with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony. Later that morning, His Honour and Ms Jones attended the Darwin City Council 2026 Australia Day Awards ceremony and a community celebration. In the afternoon, the Administrator and Ms Jones attended OzFusion 2026, celebrating Australia Day and the rich diversity of the Australian community.
