The Administrator attends the 75th Royal Darwin Show

His Honour, as Patron of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Northern Territory, and Ms Sue Brosnan OLY were delighted to attend the 75th Royal Darwin Show, beginning the day by judging the Celebrity Baking Competition. It was a closely contested competition, with congratulations to the NT News Editor Melanie Plane for taking out first place.

A special highlight of the day was presenting Honorary Life Membership of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Northern Territory to Mr Charlie King AM in recognition of his many years of outstanding dedication and service to the Royal Darwin Show.

After selecting the Administrator's Scarecrow of Choice and touring the Rotary Pavilion and exhibition halls, His Honour and Ms Brosnan enjoyed the Grand Parade and official proceedings. It was also a privilege for His Honour to present the Administrator's Medal for Junior Steward of the Year, recognising the next generation of passionate agricultural leaders.
