Rossy Williams Shield
His Honour is Patron of NT Cricket, and performed the official “bat flip” at the opening ceremony of the Rossy Williams Shield in Tennant Creek.
The Rossy Williams Shield is the final remote carnival before the Imparja Cup held annually during February and is named after one of the founders of the Imparja Cup, Warumungu man, Ross Jagamara Williams. The Shield is a highlight in Tennant Creek’s calendar with men's and women's teams coming together for a weekend of cricket and connection.
