Northern Territory World Suicide Prevention Day Forum

His Honour officially opened the Northern Territory World Suicide Prevention Day Forum. Addressing this year’s theme, “Change the Narrative on Suicide, Start the Conversation, Here with Us,” His Honour encouraged attendees to continue building on the crucial work already begun: talking openly about experiences of suicide, raising awareness of mental illness, challenging the stigma surrounding mental illness and suicide attempts, and breaking the many silences around suicide, depression, and mental illness.
