Commemorating the 82nd Anniversary of the Bombing of Darwin

His Honour, accompanied by Ms Jones attended the commemorative service at the Darwin Cenotaph, where they placed a wreath and paid their respects to the fallen.

His Honour said “As we reflect on the Bombing of Darwin, we can also trace a line from the past to the present. All the world is affected by war: now, 82 years ago, in between and before that. I think we can all join together collectively in hoping, wishing for peace.”
