Swearing-In Ceremony for the Northern Territory Second Fyles Ministry

In the afternoon, the Administrator, acting on the advice of the Chief Minister and under Section 36 of the Northern Territory (Self Government) Act 1978, terminated ministerial appointments and, subsequently under Section 34 determined the designation of new offices of Ministers of the Northern Territory, at a swearing in ceremony, at Government House.

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, His Honour wished the new Ministry well in their endeavours.
