2023 Northern Territory Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Practitioner Excellence Awards

The Administrator and Ms Jones attended the 2023 Northern Territory Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker and Practitioner Excellence Awards, which celebrate the outstanding achievements of some remarkable individuals.

From emerging health workers and practitioners to lifetime achievers - the pinnacle of the awards being the Dr John Hargraves Honour Roll. This award was named in honour of Dr John Hargrave AO MBE who was a pioneer in the establishment of Aboriginal health workers and practitioners in the Northern Territory.

To all the award recipients, your dedication, innovation and passion have not only elevated your respective fields but have also contributed to the collective progress of our region. Your achievements serve as beacons of inspiration. Congratulations and thank you for the vital work that each of you do on a daily basis to improve the health of all of those who live in our community.
