Request a function at Government House

The Administrator may host events at Government House:

  • to mark special occasions for not for profit groups
  • for initiatives that clearly demonstrate significant outcomes for the Northern Territory.
  • in support of promoting the Northern Territory and recognising significant achievements of Territorians such as award ceremonies.

Government House is the official home of the Administrator and their family, and is therefore not a venue available for corporate, sponsorship or fundraising events, or weddings.

How to request

If your function meets the eligibility above, you must submit a letter of request at least 3 months before the proposed date and no earlier than 5 months before.

Your request must include the:

  • number of intended guests
  • 3 preferred dates.
